Servings – about 40
Ingredients –
2 pounds of medium-size shrimp
1 package of healthiest bacon you can find
2 tablespoons of paprika
2 tablespoons of oregano
1 tablespoon of salt
2 teaspoons of black pepper
2 teaspoons of cayenne
1 teaspoon of cumin

Preheat the oven to 350Β°
1 – Using a small mixing bowl, add all the seasonings and mix it.
2 – Using a large frying pan, cook the bacon just enough to be edible and it changes color (think halfway to being crispy).  Then cut the bacon strips in half.
3 – If you need to thaw, devein and deshell the shrimp, do that first.  Some people like to keep the tail on and some don’t. Your call.  Toss the shrimp in the seasoning mix.  You can do one at a time and coat it for more flavor, or you can toss the whole mix with all of the shrimp aiming for an even, light coat on each shrimp.  If you like this method, put the mix in a large plastic zip lock bag and add all the shrimp at once.  Then shake it until all the shrimp are coated.
4 – After coating the shrimp, wrap the bacon around the center. Tuck the ends of the bacon over each other and place them so they lay on the bottom side of the shrimp. You can also use toothpicks to hold the bacon during the cooking process or put them in afterward for serving as a cocktail appetizer.
5 – Using a nonstick baking sheet or a parchment-lined pan, place all the shrimp-wrapped bacon evenly across the pan with some space in between and bake for 10 minutes or until the shrimp is a strong pink color and bacon is cooked to your preference.

Helpful hints – If you miss breadcrumbs, then use a pound of shrimp and heavily coat each piece of shrimp using all of the seasoning mixes.  It will have the consistency of a light breadcrumb and will be VERY flavorful πŸ€ͺ🌢 Yum! πŸ˜‹
