Paleo- All Paleo 💯 I suggest cacao chips but if you’re using powder, check ingredients first.

FODMAP- Pay attention to how your body will react. First, make sure the banana is not ripe. Second, how many raisins can you have without having a reaction, and third can you mix the two fruits. Sometimes we can have fruit indiviudally but once they are combined we get screwed.

Macros- This is a one serving recipe so log your food individually for what you decide to include. If you share it, then just log half.

Ingredients-

1 banana, not ripe

2 tablespoons of raisins

8 ounces of almond milk

cinnamon to taste

cacao chips or powder, personal preference

Steps-

Using a blender, add all the ingredients and blend.

Helpful hints-Banana shakes are good with any mix! With raisins, it’s extra sweet with an ice cream like texture. You can freeze it for an actual ice cream.🍨

-As lowFODMAP folks we shouldn’t or can’t have the ripe banana. The thickness of a non-ripe banana is so much better for this treat anyway since it will make it more like ice cream than just a drink.
